Ok, we need to say something.
We individually, Scott and Bill, are not interested in selling condominiums as "condominiums" if
they consist of an association made up of less than 8 units.
There, it has been said.
In our opinion, too many "DUPLEXES"
are being built and sold under the guise of being a condominium
association. I believe this is a PARTNERSHIP. I do not
believe in this "marketing technique" by
builders/developers/Realtors, as I believe
that common sense prevails in a home owner's association when it consists of
more than two parties. Some
builders/developers/Realtors that try to suggest to me, "It's a twindominium, but the covenants are not yet ready." Folks,
please.
By design one
duplex can have good investment potential, but in our opinion they
should not be sold as condominiums, with two member/owners.
Duplexes should have one owner, able to more efficiently manage the
maintenance.
We believe in Condominium
Associations that are strong, that look after their membership, and
provide fellow owners with the protection of established rules,
guidelines and covenants. Good and active associations are
good places to live and can protect your real estate investment.
If you are visiting this web site
because you have a twindominium to sell, if you are only looking to
sell one side, please consider us uninterested in offering our
services. I am sorry if our opinion offends, but it is our
business decision.
